About NCTT

The Sudanese National Center for Teacher Training was established in November 2014 by a Cabinet decision under the supervision of the Ministry of Education. It is dedicated to developing teachers in both public and private sectors through training programs aligned with the standards of the Educational Professions Council. Its functions include designing, implementing, and evaluating professional training programs, supporting teachers’ professional growth, conducting educational research, and fostering collaboration with education faculties and research institutions. The center also enhances teaching performance, issues professional certifications, maintains a national teacher database, and identifies training needs. Additionally, it provides technical support, promotes regional and international cooperation, and facilitates access to global experiences and scholarships for Sudanese educators.
